Rules for PeeWees
and Bantams
| 1. | All games will be played under USA Hockey rules, as modified by WAHA and the tournament committee. | ||||||||
| 2. | A maximum of twenty (20) players may be on the roster and dressed for each team for each game. Not more than four (4) adults (coaches and managers) will be allowed in the players' box while games are in progress. | ||||||||
| 3. | Properly certified team rosters must be submitted to the tournament officials at registration check-in. USA hockey team roster must be available and will be checked and verified against rosters during check-in. NO ADDITIONS CAN BE MADE TO THE ROSTER ONCE THE TEAM HAS CHECKED-IN. | ||||||||
| 4. | The first teams in the pairings will be the "home" team except that Amery will always be designated the "home" team. The "home" teams gets choice of jersey color. | ||||||||
| 5. | Each team should be in their locker room 15 minutes prior to the designated starting time for their game, ready to come on the ice when called to do so. | ||||||||
| 6. | All players are required to wear helmets with full masks that are H.E.C.C. approved and colored internal mouthguards. | ||||||||
| 7. | Each period will be 15 minutes stop time. Ice resurfacing every two periods, or as needed and as time permits. | ||||||||
| 8. | If a team is ahead by six or more goals, running time will be used until the margin is lower than six goals. Stop time will be resumed. | ||||||||
| 9. | Each team shall be allowed one, 1-minute time out per game. | ||||||||
| 10. | In the event of a tie game, for an 8 team tournament, the teams will participate in a five player shoot-out. If after 5 players a tie still exists, then the teams continue with players until one of the teams' players wins the shoot-out. | ||||||||

Penalties
*Note: Absolutely no fighting will be tolerated for any reason. Extraordinary fouls in the judgment of the officials will be brought to the attention of the tournament director and may result in disqualification from the tournament. |

| 12. | The tournament will be conducted with "Zero Tolerance" of abusive language or conduct directed to the game officials by players, coaches, or managers, and will be enforced under USA Hockey rules. | ||||||||
| 13. | Only referees registered with USA Hockey will be used. All decisions by the referees are final. | ||||||||
| 14. | Coaches are responsible for the conduct of the players and the cleanliness and condition of the locker rooms. Teams will be charged for damage done to the locker rooms and / or for cleaning if left a mess. | ||||||||
| 15. | Spectators are encouraged to enjoy the game and cheer their team on, but are reminded to refrain from any profanity, abusive or obscene language or gestures directed to any spectator, player, official, or coach. Violators will be asked to leave the arena. |
