Art on the Kinni - 2008
Last year Art on the Kinni spanned both sides of the Kinnickinnic River and utilized the new main stage in the beautifully re-landscaped Veterans Park. These changes, combined with established tradition, will make Art on the Kinni 2008 a time to eat great food, sell-sell-sell and provide artists a wonderful opportunity to win prizes awarded by selected judges and peers! Art on the Kinni Juried Art Festival is an event sponsored and promoted by Community Arts Base of River Falls. Art on the Kinni features the talents and works of a growing number of local and regional artists and provides an artistic and culturally rich experience for all who participate and attend.
Art on the Kinni continues to see measured growth in both participants and attendees. In the past years Art on the Kinni hosted more than 50 artists' booths, 10 food vendors and attracted 3,500 visitors. For this year's festival our goal is to host 75-85 booths and 10-13 food vendors, which will in turn attract 5,000 visitors.
Please join us this year! We welcome your participation in the 2008 Art on the Kinni Festival. In addition, this year, we are offering a discount of $10 off your booth fee if you are a member of CAB (Community Arts Base). To qualify you will need to be a member at time of sending in your application. You can visit CAB's Web site to download an application.
