Lions Club....What is it? Since 1917, Lions clubs around the world have offered people the opportunity to give something back to their communities. From involving members in local projects such as cleaning up an area park or hosting a local baseball tournament, to far-reaching projects like helping to bring sight to the world's blind, Lions clubs have always embraced individuals committed to building a brighter future for their community. Lions believe that by working together, they can accomplish so much more than would ever be possible as individuals. In a fun-filled group environment, Lions thus work together to bring positive change and impact to the world around them. With more than 1.4 million members in 46,000 clubs from 192 countries and geographical areas around the world, the Lions have expanded their focus to help meet the ever-increasing needs of our world. Today, Lions Clubs International has grown to become the largest and most active service club organization in the world. And yet, even with all that growth, Lions are still just a group of individuals who are dedicated to maintaining the highest ethical and moral standards - both in their clubs, and in their own personal lives. What is the Chaska Lions Club? Our local chapter has been in existence for over 50 years, and is made up of 50+ members from in and around the Chaska area. The Chaska Lions Club serves our local community by funding a variety of local projects and charities in the Chaska area, and pitching in to help with local community improvement projects. Simply put: we exist to help our community. Our mission statement says it all: "We Serve!" Would you like to join our efforts to improve our local community?
