If you want to rock your socks off with a 200+
Watts
of power and so much base I can feel you coming down the road before I
see you the answer is no. You will have to convert your
electrical
system to 12 Volts. Converting a vehicle to 12 Volts is really
not that
hard, and won't cost much more then that 200 Watt system your putting
in.
However, if you are installing a very
functional
60 Watt Radio/CD player, or would like to power a cell phone or other
accessory,
the 6 to 12 Volt converter is a excellent choice. They are small,
inexpensive, and very easy to install. You get the added benefit
of keeping your vehicles electrical system stock.
The second most common question is "Is it Noisy, does it cause any hum"
The two converters I sell are designed using solid state electronics. They are high frequency switching converters with very large filter capacitors. No customer to date has made any complaints about these converters.
The third most common question is "Which converter do I need"
If the POSITIVE side of your battery is connected to the vehicle chassis, you have a POSITIVE GROUND vehicle. If the NEGATIVE side of the battery is connected to the vehicle chassis, you have a NEGATIVE GROUND vehicle.
