The St. Croix County Historical Society will present the Willow River Cemetery Walk as part of the annual Yellowstone Trail Heritage Days. The walk is set for Saturday, May 12th from noon to 3:30 p.m. at Willow River Cemetery in Hudson, Wisconsin. Tours take about 80 minutes and will start on the quarter hour with the last tour starting at 2:30 p.m. >read more

The Yellowstone Trail (1912-1930) ran right through St. Croix County, crossing the Toll Bridge over the St. Croix River, up Main Street and through Hudson. Hudson is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Trail at its annual Yellowstone Trail Heritage Days on May 11-13, 2012 with a variety of events throughout the weekend. >read more

The Annual Civil War Encampment was held on Saturday, July 16th from noon to 4:30 p.m. on the lawn of the Octagon House Museum. It was a very hot day and the fearless re-enactors (in their heavy wool suits) presented another wonderful demonstration. >read more
