Woodland Trails Addition to review and get the signatures of the town board.
Discussion ensued with regards to some drainage issues and where the
drainage was going, grade levels, etc. Motion
by Les and seconded by Hubie to approve the developer’s agreement for Woodland
Trails Addition. No further discussion. Motion

Robert
Caola – Motion by Les and seconded by Hubie to approve 80 x 50’ pole shed to
replace building that burnt down per county codes and setbacks with the
condition that the Caola’s apply for a CUP for their business.

Caola – Motion by Les and seconded by Hubie to approve recommendation for CUP
to operate landscaping business known as Caola Landscaping from their residence
per county codes. No further

Bischof – Motion by Ted and seconded by Les to approve 36’ x 55’ pole shed
per county codes and setbacks. Motion

breezeway from the home to the pole shed (12’ x 23’ porch attached to the
house with a 8’ x 26’ breezeway to the existing pole shed) per

DNR – Growth Pressures on Sensitive Natural areas – Information purposes

Jordan
Bike Tour – Had a request from the Jordan Bike Tour to use the parking lot.
Ted asked Jim Emmerich if this was alright.
Jim stated that Ted should talk with Carol Emmerich about this.

Business:
Annexation
and developer’s agreement – At the present time,, we are waiting to hear
from the City of Jordan on the annexation agreement and the developer’s
agreement we are dealing with our attorney.
Township
Right of Way Ordinance – Ready to be reviewed.
City
of Belle Plaine update – Mayor Tom from Belle Plaine and a Councilman Lezman
from Belle Plaine were present to talk about e-mail received from Mitch Rasmusen
and Lezlie Vermillion with regards to Old Highway 169.
The total cost on an overlay would be about $125,000.
He asked our board to get a hold of

Union
Pacific Railroad – Julie Carr is trying to put together another meeting about
bridge on Township #57.
Scenic
Byways – Tabled.
Road Maintenance Report –
Les graded the roads.
Need to put material on road. Other
than that, Hubie will go out with the shoulder disc soon and get some of the
stuff back up from the ditches. Tree
trimming is done with the exception of some stumps that need to be ground out.
Seal coating we are in on. Already
getting calls on dust coating. Will
come in May like we have always done.
Les asked Todd from Dvorak if he had blades.
He stated that he has 16 ft’ edges on hand.
Les stated he would like to purchase them from him.
Todd also stated he had a price on the stumps to get
rid of them. $40 per ton or
$800-$1,200 per side dump in Shakopee. The
cheapest place is Mankato SMC’s compost is $8.50 per yard or $175 - $200 max
to get rid of them there. Could take

Stang stated that he believes that once they start digging into Old Hwy 169 that
it will be a bigger mess than they are stating.
Les stated that we no longer need to talk about it.

asked about stumps that are being removed on 195th and if all are
being removed and if product will be put in to cover the stumps.
