Ann Bohlman stated that in the month of July we had income of $802.59.
Balance of $510.61 in checking and $243,728.25 in savings.
Also have two $20,000.00 certificates at Community Bank Jordan and a
$20,000 certificate at KleinBank Chaska. The
$20,000 certificate at KleinBank Chaska is due.
Total $304,238.86. Motion by
Ted and seconded by Les to approve treasurer’s report and to reinvest
the certificate at KleinBank with the best interest rate to be at the
treasurer’s discretion. No further

Highway 169 added to agenda – Proposal was put in front of the board to assist
in the Old Highway 169 Boulevard Project. The

Dot, Scott County and City of Belle Plaine have already committed to this
project and wanted the townships and Qwest to commit.
Belle Plaine Township asked about the road being a 9 or 10 ton road and
how wide it would be. Ted stated it
cannot say yes or no to having a meeting to approve overlay base coat.
Pave should overcoat 4” and ˝” wear coat.
Asked about durability and will Scott County and DOT guaranty more than a
10-year fix. Ted said Buffalo, Scott
County and MN Dot said yes. Ted told
them we wouldn’t get a better offer. Also
asked if it would be prorated if road were annexed into the city.
Ted asked them to get back, we will be in the game to fix the road.
Motion by Les and seconded by Hubie to approve $15,000 for our share in
the road project. No further

2nd Quarter Report – Scott County Code Compliance
Scott
County Fall Clean-up Day – need to respond by August 25, 2006 – We will
participate. Will partner with City
of Belle Plaine or City of Jordan.

County Townships Code Enforcement Resolution – Board decided to deny this
resolution.

Annexation
and developer’s agreement – City of Jordan meeting on August 22, 2006 at 6
p.m. A list of property owners on
the roue of line to come to the meeting. Get
a feel from residents in first section of annexation.
Township
Right of Way Ordinance – tabled.
City
of Belle Plaine update – Try to partner with Old Highway 169.
Manager of Ambulance resigned. Let
crew function with Mdekowaton next 10 days.
City
of Jordan updates – Annexation meeting on August 22nd as stated
above.
MN
Dot updates – Old Highway 169 Blvd. Off ramp to open within the next 10 days
into Belle Plaine.
Township
Road No. 57 Grant Update – Had meeting on the 9th of August of the
Highway garage. Met with Tim Jillet
and went over different things for Township #57.
Supervisors will be getting info to us.
Will try to extend more into park to meet 30 mph.
Paving Township #57 bids awarded Tuesday to Chard.
Union
Pacific Railroad – nothing.
Scenic
Byways – tabled.
Road Maintenance Report – 185th needs a
load of material by Severson’s. Need
more rain to grade roads.
Other
Business/Notices/Public Comments – Jordan needs a waiver for 1998 Comp Plan.
Ruppe advised that it would be okay to sign.
Water
shed meeting on August 30, 2006.
