Pledge was recited by all present.
Ted Kordner called recessed meeting of February 12, 2009 to order at 7:00 p.m. on March 12, 2009. Motion by Les and seconded by Hubie to adjourn. No discussion. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:01 p.m.

Minutes of the last meeting of February 12, 2009 were reviewed. Motion by Les and seconded by Ted to approve. No discussion. Motion carried.
Minutes of the special meeting held on February 20, 2009 were reviewed. Motion by Les and seconded by Hubie to approve. No discussion. Motion carried by all.
Treasurer’s Report:
Rae Ann Bohlman stated that in the month of February we had income of $351.58. Balance of $515.93 in checking and $271,900.85 in savings. Also have one $20,000.00 certificate at Flagship Bank and a $20,000.00 certificate at KleinBank Chaska. Total $314,830.24. Rae Ann also stated that she received information from Valley Bank Jordan with regards to our monies being insured. The president of Valley Bank Jordan will get something to us in writing with regards to the additional insurance they have to cover our monies. Motion by Ted and seconded by Hubie to approve treasurer’s report. No further discussion. Motion carried by all.

Permits:
Scott Carver Threshers were present to request a Bingo Permit. Motion by Les and seconded by Hubie to approve Bingo permit application. Motion carried by all.
Scott Carver Threshers were present to request a “On Sale” 3.2 Malt Liquor License. Motion by Les and seconded by Hubie to approve. Motion carried by all.
New Business:
Scott County Police Report – Not much in the report. February was a very slow month in our township.
Scott County Township Road and Bridge Levy – For informational purposes only.
2009 Local Board of Appeal and Equalization – This date has been set for April 20, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the township hall.
Scott County – 2009 Sealing Coating, Crack Sealing and Dust Coating – Our Township will do its own.
Scott County – 2009 Annual Bridge Inspection Results – We have no bridges in our jurisdiction so this is for informational purposes only.
Scott County – Recording Development Agreements – Status Report – We talked about the Woodland Trail Estates money owed to us in the amount of $6,922.50. Mona will call Duane Jurek, a civil sergeant at Scott County, to see how this works. Duane’s number is 496-8725.

Scott County Township Association Spring Meeting – Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 8 a.m. at the Community Center at 20381 Fairlawn Avenue, Jordan, MN.

Speed Study – waiting for the okay to put the signs up.
Scott County – Resolution for Emergency Management Plan – Mona to call Chris to get information back to him as this was approved at a special meeting held February 20, 2009.
Annexation and developers agreement – tabled.
Township Right-of-way Ordinance – tabled.
City of Belle Plaine Update – Seven people have showed an interest in running for mayor after the newly elected Mayor passed away. Council will appoint some one in the near future.
City of Jordan Update – City of Jordan’s comp plan is down at the Met Council. It was noted in the plan that they did not receive any information from our township.
MN Dot Update – No update.
Township Road #57 – No update.
Scenic Byways – No update.
Road Maintenance Report –
Need to keep an eye on 218th Street and the bottom of the hill on Township #57 by Caola’s for wash outs.
Other Business/Notices/Public Comments;
36th Annual Township
Road Grader – Les brought a copy of an appraisal of what the auctioneer thought the road grader might go for. Some other people have some on auction. Will check out and see what they get for theirs.
Les also stated that the person who did damage in Sioux Vista was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $225.00. This is in regards to a complaint that we filed previous but were not going to ask for damages. They asked us to seek damages or not ask for a complaint to be filed in the future.
No further business to come before the meeting. Motion by Hubie and seconded by Ted to recess meeting to all other meetings for the next month. No discussion. Motion carried by all. Meeting recessed at 7:53 p.m.
