Classes about Wisconsin animals, habitats and watersheds can be taught in your classroom. Fees are the same whether the classes are taught in your classroom or at the Willow River State Park Nature Center. For more information, please call Kari 715-386-9340 or email wrspnc@pressenter.com.

Available classes include:
Fish–Hands on learning class. Grades 3–5
Learn about the adaptations of fish. How do the different features of fish help them survive in their environment? Then create your own fish to demonstrate your understanding of fish.

Watersheds–Hands on learning class. Grades 3–5
Find out what a watershed is, which one you live in and why they are important to us and the environment. Discover the different types of water habitats and who lives in them. Afterwards create a water environment for various animals

Ground Water–Hands on learning class. Grades 3–5
Find out what the water table is, what happens when chemicals leak into the ground, how water flows through the earth and what we need to do to protect our drinking water.

Wisconsin Habitats–Hands on learning class. Grades 1–5
Students will learn about the three habitats in Wisconsin, what animals live in them, how we affect them and how we can be good stewards of the land.

Wisconsin Wildlife–Hands on learning class. Grades K–3
Students will see and touch skulls, shells and pelts of animals that live in Wisconsin. They will learn what these objects tell us about how the animal lives.
